EVERYONE knows that annoying moment when your iPhone battery is running low.
It’s a problem that always seems to come at the worst possible time – but there are ways you can maximize the juice.

iPhone batteries have only gotten better and better over the past few years, so the rapidly declining performance is usually due to what we’re doing with them.
Try some of these tips to see if it makes your iPhone last a little longer.
Switch to Wi-Fi instead of data
Always choose Wi-Fi over your data whenever you have the option.
Not only does this save your data, but Wi-Fi uses less battery power.

Reduce iPhone brightness
Lighting is a real power guzzler.
Shutting it down even a little will save precious battery.
Just slide down from the top right and you will see the brightness slider.

Turn on power saving mode
With the battery saver mode, the iPhone can cleverly reduce power consumption for you.
This is done in a number of ways, e.g. B. by preventing apps from updating in the background.
Performance is also sacrificed, so you might find things slow down a bit.

Stop updating apps in the background
Apps running in the background are one of the biggest power consumers.
Of course, it’s designed to be useful – WhatsApp, for example, will constantly update for new messages, and Gmail will do the same for new emails.
If there are apps that you don’t need to constantly update, it might be a good idea to just stop them from doing so.
Go to ideasthen General.
Next go to Update background app.
From there, you can either turn off all background app updates, or individually select the ones you want to stop from the list.

Turn off notifications
Apps that regularly send notifications also affect the battery.
You can turn them off by going to ideasthen notifications.
Choose show Preview and set it never or When unlockeddepending on what you prefer.
Alternatively, you can select individual apps from the list and turn off notifications from the ones you don’t want.

Disable boost to wake
Have you ever noticed how your phone lights up just by touching it or picking it up?
That’s the raise-to-wake feature, meant to come in handy when you need to take a quick look at notifications or the time.
But of course it consumes battery.
So if you don’t need it, turn off the feature by going to ideasfollowed by screen brightness.
Turn on the switch next to Raise to wake up out.
