The Boys: Jeffrey Dean Morgan Joins Season 4 Cast


As we look ahead to the next season of Prime Video’s twisted superhero series The youngwhich recently began production in Toronto, Ontario, a much-anticipated casting announcement has finally been confirmed — the Walking Dead‘s Jeffrey Dean Morgan has joined the cast of Season 4!

Rumors of Morgan’s potential involvement in the series were rife back in 2020 when he tweeted his support for the second season, which then prompted showrunner Eric Kripke to make him an offer to participate The young Universe. While this ultimately didn’t come out in time for Season 3, which recently came out on Prime Video, it looks like the stars are finally aligning (and let’s all say thanks to AMC for Make room in Morgan’s schedule).

Since Kripke often has a penchant for inviting actors from his past shows into current projects (which is always a treat for fans), Morgan is the latest in a list of supernatural alum to join the show after portraying John Winchester on the long-running series. Meanwhile, Dean Winchester himself – Jensen Ackles – recently portrayed the dubious Supe Soldier Boy in Season 3.

While we don’t know much about what’s in store for Season 4 of The young, We recently learned that the premiere episode will be titled Department of Dirty Tricks.

Based on the comic series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, Eric Kripkes The young is a funny and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes — who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods — misuse their superpowers instead of using them for good. In addition to the hilarious animated anthology series that sets in The young Universe, The Boys Presents: DiabolicalFans of the show can look forward to even more content with the upcoming spin-off. The series, which will feature another familiar face from supernatural – Alexander Calvert, about America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (operated by Vought International).
