“In this video, I’m going to show you how you can make $10,000 a month on YouTube by uploading simple videos,” she said.

“You don’t need fancy editing software, you won’t even use a laptop or computer, the only thing you’ll need is a phone.”

There is no doubt that social media has taken over everyday activities and there are many ways you can capitalize on it.

Monique shares with her followers that YouTube is donating up to $10,000 to creators who create “short form content”.

YouTube’s Shorts Fund is a $100 million fund that rewards creators for their dedication to creating creative, original content.

“YouTube has a fund that they set aside that they only give to creators who create short-form content,” Monique says in her video.

Monique advises her 366,000 subscribers to keep their phones vertical as social media platforms won’t monetize your videos unless they’re 9×16.

She reminds her supporters that they can use whatever they want as “content”.

“Everything is happy,” she says.

“The most random videos you can shoot are likely to go viral before those you think are really just great videos.”

It’s best to post three to four videos a day, says the side-hustle guru.

YouTube provides an in-app editing feature if you wish to use this option.

Monique gives a quick guide on how to use the feature.

However, if you don’t want to edit your video on YouTube, Monique advises her subscribers to use Adobe Premiere Rush, a free video editing app.

She also suggests that when choosing a sound, it’s best to use only instrumental or free music; Otherwise, there’s a chance your video won’t be monetized.

creator fund

Once you’ve created an audience and started seeing more views, YouTube will reach out to you and invite you to the Creator Short Fund.

After accepting your invitation, you can receive your money.

To confirm your eligibility, you must upload at least one video within 180 days.

You must be at least 13 years old and upload original content.

In 2023, the app will allow creators to fully monetize their content without being included in the creator fund.

Keep in mind that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) states that as a self-employed person, you are generally required to file an annual return and pay estimated taxes quarterly.

The IRS states that you must file an income tax return if your net self-employment income was $400 or more.

If your net self-employment income is less than $400, you are still required to file an income tax return if you meet any other filing requirement listed on Form 1040.
