Anna Newton runs The Anna Edit, an online lifestyle brand that includes a newsletter, blog, YouTube and TikTok content.

In a TikTok video, Newton broke down the secret ingredients she uses Keep her wardrobe camera-ready at any time.

Number one on their list: a steamer. Fashionistas could invest in an XXL model, but the casual fashionista can find a handheld version for as little as $19.99.

“It just makes your clothes look amazing,” Newton said, holding up her large and portable steamers.

The steamer can be used to clean heavy winter coats or to de-crease your trousers, dresses and skirts.

“If like me you hate ironing, it’s a great alternative and a lot more fun,” added Newton.

Freshen up your fall and winter attire by tackling sweaters with a cashmere comb.

The fine-toothed combs are great for removing pilling (or “bobbles” as Newton calls them) from cashmere and other knitwear. A $10 comb will last for several seasons.

“It’s really good for big surfaces where you need to get rid of the bobbles,” Newton explained. “Plus, I like having that cloth razor handy.”

You can use a $10 razor to freshen up scarves and sweaters during the cold months.

Holding up a small, rounded-head cloth razor, she said it’s a better option for areas with a lot of pilling or small segments that require precision.

If you’re styling this sweater with a pair of jeans, consider investing in a denim spray.

“Never underestimate the power of a denim spray,” Newton said. “It really helps extend the life of your denim by making it so you don’t have to wash it as often.”

Denim sprays like Attirecare’s $18 spray are formulated with essential oils and other bacteria-killing ingredients.

If you wash your denim too often, the fibers can break down and ruin the fit or leave holes in areas that experience a lot of friction.

Newton said a denim spray keeps jeans clean — and smelling fresh — without damaging the fabric.

Finally, stash a reusable lint roller in your car or purse. Better yet, spend $3.99 take a set of 2 and make sure they are always handy.

“You can use it to get rid of the fluff on your clothes,” Newton said. She demonstrated how the reusable type works.

After using the lint remover roller, you can simply dump the stray threads and dirt into a trash can.

“Give it a few turns and the fluff comes out at the top,” Newton said, showing off her own roll. “So, so satisfying.”
