PLAYISM has announced digital pre-orders for idol manager are available now for Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop.

idol manager supports English, Japanese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese text and Japanese voice acting. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions will go on sale on release day.

The latest details are available below via PLAYISM:

Set out on a journey to create an empire starting with 5 million yen and some free real estate thanks to a shady figure who covets the prestige of owning a successful idol group talent agency. Spend money to audition for new talent, then select promising candidates based on their capabilities and attractiveness. Consider other attributes that determine how these skills change with age and how they connect with the rest of the group. A prospect could be the next big star, but could her ego and penchant for leaking secrets be more trouble than she’s worth?
Manage personal relationships with the idols and hire the right agency staff to succeed. Create multiple groups to control all the idols. Research market trends, release singles that appeal to the market, and build their popularity with the right performances. Regulate groups’ behavior by setting social media sanctions, livestream restrictions and dating do’s and don’ts — strict rules might cause talent to rebel, but looser rules might not live up to fans’ expectations of idols.
Try to build an empire, but remember money doesn’t grow on trees; Don’t go bankrupt or do anything overly scandalous or illegal. Competitors out there want to eliminate the competition, and they play dirty when necessary. Perhaps crime and controversy justify taking them out…
The console versions include all content from the hit PC version, originally released on Steam in 2021, and add controller support. Earn multiple endings in story mode with three difficulty levels. See how rough and mean the world of cute singing dancing girls can be, enjoy a more casual experience or just enjoy the management systems with custom settings in free mode.
“Since the day we first released it, we’ve heard everyone screaming for console versions of Idol Manager, and we’ve taken the time to ensure the controller support is perfect for console players,” said Max Rogozin, Founder of Glitch Pitch. “Pre-order the game today so we can fulfill our lifelong dream of becoming a true idol manager and see exactly how we made it idol manager!”

Finally, Idol Manager will be released on August 25th for PS4, PS5 and Switch.
