An interior designer has come to the rescue with her simple DIY hack that will instantly upgrade any space.

And you don’t have to be a DIY expert or have a box full of tools to make this one.

Home decor genius Magdalena posts her home hacks and DIY tutorials on her TikTok account ‘experimenting with decor‘.

One of her latest videos when it comes to a DIY backsplash that doesn’t require paying for expensive wallpaper.

And it’s super easy.

Magdalena added her video to TikTok with the caption, “I’ve had this “backsplash” for a few years and it still looks so good!”

In the video, we see Magdalena using a white marker pen to draw around a stencil on her wall, creating a unique “inexpensive backsplash” design.

This bold white pattern looks fabulous against your black painted wall.

This DIY stencil design wallpaper appears to be in a laundry room – behind a washing machine and tumble dryer.

It’s simple but effective, and it really brings the room to life.

And not only does her design look great, she’s also saved herself hundreds of pounds on expensive wallpaper.

Magdalena hopes to “bring you budget home decor ideas to brighten up your space,” and with this DIY job, she’s done just that.

She said: “This look is my favorite!!”

At the time of writing, just six days after the video was uploaded to TikTok, it has quickly racked up 3.2 million views.

It has 147.3,000 likes, 206 comments and 2,954 shares.

Many TikTok users were very impressed with Magdalena’s home improvement and used the comments to express it.
