Why Does Apple Cider Vinegar and Dish Soap Kill Flies?

This blend is so good at killing flies thanks to the properties of its ingredients. The sweet apple cider vinegar attracts the flies to the mixture.

While flies normally land on and drink sweet liquids, dish soap interferes.

The soap means when the flies land on the mix they fall in and then quickly drown.

“They’ll be drunk on the honey. They’ll all be glued to it within an hour.”
