How to share your Google Maps Live location.

To always be on your safety radar with your loved ones, they need to be able to share their live location from Google Maps. Please inform your loved ones to do the following first and share their live location.

  • Tap the profile photo in the top right.
  • Select from the menu “Share location.”
  • Tap Share Location and choose a contact.
  • Tell them to select the correct contact linked to your correct number.
  • You can select the tracking duration from the drop down box.
  • You will then receive an email that the contact has shared their live location.
  • The email contains a link that you can use to track the person “live” by clicking on Google Maps.

Please note that if you click on the link in the email sent by Google to rate you via a, Google Maps will start automatically
“live” Share from your loved ones.
