Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes before pouring it out and rinsing it with warm water.
For stronger stains, baking soda can be combined with vinegar or lemon juice.
The combination of acid and alkali creates a bubbly reaction that can help cut through burned food.
While baking soda is safe for some of your pans, it will depend on the type of material they’re made of.
This is because baking soda can oxidize certain metals, such as aluminum, if left on for a long period of time.
Either way, it’s important to rinse your pans after you’ve cleaned them to make sure the baking soda doesn’t do any harm.
